Film Production Brand - Come into Focus
Objective
A close friend of mine, was launching his own freelance film company specialising in music videos and short film production, and he asked me to create a logo that would help establish his brand. He wanted something bold and memorable a design that stood out in the creative industry.
Designing a logo for a filmmaker came with its own challenges. I developed five different concepts, ranging from clean, minimal designs with vibrant tones to more expressive options featuring gradient colour blends, which were a strong trend at the time.
Beyond the logo, I also helped Mark create visual assets for his website, ensuring the new brand identity carried through consistently across all touchpoints. This included selecting complementary typefaces, refining the colour palette for digital use, and designing on-brand graphics and imagery to enhance his online presence.
Working with a long-time friend reminded me how effective communication and mutual understanding can elevate a project, and it reinforced an important lesson.
